Texas Almet, founded in 1989 in Arlington, Texas, to manufacture aluminum and composite turbine honeycomb components and aircraft flight control surfaces, has evolved into a broad-spectrum honeycomb supplier. As the North American distributor of Hexcel honeycomb, the company offers Expresscore®, quick shipment of expanded honeycomb panels, and Shapecore®, in-stock machined honeycomb shapes to support the commercial aircraft overhaul industry. Additionally, we manufacture parts for all types of commercial and military aircraft. Including fixed-wing, UAV, UCAV and helicopters. Other markets we produce honeycomb components for include electronic and industrial applications such as EMI protection, energy absorption, and light / fluid / air flow control.

Our success has come with developed specialties, such as in-house tool fabrication, prototyping experience, extensive machining capability, and the collective composite industry background of its valued employees. There are over 300 years' experience in the combined totals of its most valuable employees. The company has made considerable investment in on-site equipment using industry standard saws and mills, along with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines to support the increasing technological needs of customers. Our handwork capability is second to none in the industry.

While economic conditions have provided many challenges for the aerospace industry at large, Texas Almet has continued to grow and expand. Today, we are a first choice to assist our customers in bringing innovative honeycomb products to aerospace and commercial industries.
