Founded in Arlington, Texas in 1989, Texas Almet began as an added value honeycomb provider of honeycomb for turbine engines and flight control surfaces. Today, we are a full-spectrum honeycomb solutions provider serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Through our Value Added and Shapecore® processes, we are supporting commercial aircraft overhaul and maintenance programs through custom-made specialty parts. We manufacture components for commercial and military platforms, including fixed-wing aircraft, UAVs, UCAVs, and helicopters.

In 1994, Texas Almet became the exclusive North American distributor of Hexcel Hexweb® honeycomb sheets and slices. Supported by an extensive inventory, we offer Expresscore® for rapid shipment of sheets, slices and piece cut-to-size honeycomb panels to support MRO and production needs.

Beyond aerospace, our honeycomb products serve electronic and industrial applications such as EMI shielding, energy absorption, and controlled light, fluid, and airflow management.

With many years of combined industry experience, our team brings extensive knowledge in tooling, prototyping, and advanced machining. We have invested heavily in on-site manufacturing technology, including industry-standard saws and mills, as well as 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers to meet evolving customer requirements.
